3.2 Personal Data we collect from other sources

We also gather information about you from various sources, including our customers and other third parties, who provide Personal Data. Additionally, we may collect data from publicly available sources. This information may be merged with the Personal Data you provide, enabling us to update, enhance, and analyze our records, identify potential customers, and tailor advertising to offer services that align with your interests. The Personal Data acquired from external sources encompasses identifiers, professional details, educational background, commercial data, visual content, internet activity records, and inferred preferences and behaviors. Specifically, we collect or may collect such data from the following channels:
  • Third-party providers of business contacts, offering details such as mailing addresses, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, user behavior data, IP addresses, social media profiles, LinkedIn URLs, and customized profiles. This information aids in targeted advertising, personalized email campaigns, event promotions, profiling, as well as verifying contact information.
  • Another individual within your organization who may furnish us with your business contact information for service-related purposes.
  • If you engage in open-source or community development projects, we may link your code repository username with your community account. This enables us to communicate important program changes relevant to your participation or pertaining to additional security measures.
    • What device and usage data do we process?

We employ standard methods for gathering information, including tools for collecting usage data, cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies. These tools automatically collect data, which may include Personal Data, as you browse our websites, utilize our services, or engage with emails we’ve sent to you.

    4.1 Device and usage data

Like most websites, we automatically collect certain information when users visit our websites. This includes identifiers, commercial details, and internet activity data such as IP addresses (or proxy server details), device and application specifics, identification numbers, location, browser type, plugins, integrations, Internet service provider, or mobile carrier, viewed pages and files, searches, referring website or ad, operating system, system configuration, advertising and language preferences, as well as timestamps associated with your usage and visit frequency. This information aids in trend analysis, website improvement, personalized user experiences, and website security.

Similarly, when using our cloud products and services, we automatically gather identifiers, commercial data, and internet activity information like IP addresses (or proxy servers), mobile device numbers, device and application IDs, location, browser type, Internet service provider, viewed pages and interactions, operating system details, and timestamps. This data serves various purposes including service security, functionality maintenance, performance enhancement, customer and user experience assessment, compliance review, opportunity identification for service development, capacity assessment, customer engagement, and overall ONE HEALTH  security. While some of this data may personally identify you, it’s primarily used to distinguish individual users rather than specific individuals, unless necessary for security or service provision purposes.

4.2 Cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies on our website and in email communications

We utilize technologies like web beacons, pixels, tags, and JavaScript, either independently or alongside cookies, to collect data on website usage and email interactions.

During your website visits, we or an authorized third party may set a cookie on your device to gather information, including Personal Data, about your online behaviors across various sites over time. Cookies enable us to monitor usage patterns, infer browsing preferences, and enhance and personalize your browsing experience.

Our websites utilize both session-based and persistent cookies. Session-based cookies are active only during a single session and disappear when you close your browser or switch off your device. Persistent cookies remain on your device even after you close your browser or turn off your device. If you wish to modify your cookie settings for any of our websites, please reach out to us using the contact details provided in the “Contacting us” section below. However, disabling cookies on your device may restrict your access to certain features on our websites and services.

Additionally, we employ web beacons and pixels on our websites and in our emails. For instance, a pixel embedded in marketing emails informs us when you click on a link within the email. These technologies assist us in managing and enhancing our websites and marketing emails. If you wish to unsubscribe from our marketing emails, please refer to Section 10.4 below for instructions.

4.3 Notices on behavioral advertising and opt-out for website visitors

As described above, we or one of our authorized partners, including Google, may place or read cookies on your device when you visit our websites for the purpose of serving you targeted advertising (also referred to as “online behavioral advertising” or “interest-based advertising”). To opt-out of targeted advertising that is provided to us and to third parties by ONE HEALTH Audience Studio, please contact us by using the information in the “Contacting us” section below.

4.4 Opt-Out from the setting of cookies on your individual browser

You can often opt-out of non-essential device and usage data collection on your web browser by managing your cookies at the browser or device level. However, please be aware that blocking or deleting cookies and similar technologies used on our websites may limit your ability to fully utilize the websites.

Although certain internet browsers provide a “do not track” or “DNT” option allowing you to indicate your preference not to be tracked online, these features are not universally adopted and there is no standardized approach endorsed by industry groups, technology firms, or regulators. Consequently, we do not currently commit to responding to browsers’ DNT signals regarding our websites.

ONE HEALTH is committed to privacy and providing meaningful choices, and we will continue to monitor advancements in DNT browser technology and the establishment of a standard.

    4.5 Social Media Features

Our websites may incorporate social media features (“Social Media Features”), which enable you to share information about your website activities on external platforms and social networks. These features may also allow you to showcase content posted on our website. Social Media Features can be hosted either by the respective platforms or directly on our website.

When Social Media Features are hosted by the platforms themselves and you click through them from our websites, the platform may receive data indicating your visit to our websites. If you are logged in to your social media account, the platform may potentially link your visit to our websites with your social media profile.

Additionally, ONE HEALTH offers the option to log in to certain websites using sign-in services. These services authenticate your identity and may provide us with certain Personal Data such as your name and email address to populate our sign-up form.

Your interactions with Social Media Features are subject to the privacy policies of the companies providing them.

    4.6 Telephony log information

When utilizing specific features of our services on a mobile device, we may gather telephony log details (such as phone numbers, call timestamps, call durations, SMS routing data, and call types), device event data (including crashes, system activity, hardware configurations, and browser language), and location information (via IP address, GPS, and other sensors). This location information may furnish us with data on nearby devices, Wi-Fi access points, and cell towers.
